Coach Matt

Matt’s Background:

I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York from 1996 to 2020, then moved to Columbus, Ohio. I was trained and brought up in construction and worked as an electrician for 8 year. I started lifting when I was 15 years old and my lifestyle slowly started to change, until fitness became my anchor and passion. Being in the fast paced construction world sometimes made things challenging to pursue bodybuilding with the time it requires, the meals and rest needed. I had to learn to be disciplined and punctual. Food needed to be prepped and mobile; work and eat at the same time. Training needed to be done with purpose. Rest and recovery was well deserved.

When I moved to Ohio in 2020 I started Annihilate Athletics LLC with the goal of helping others with health and fitness goals. I became educated as a coach along with specializations in nutrition, weight loss and Bodybuilding. Coming from construction I have been able to gravitate towards those in similar fields who want to pursue their health goals but feel they don’t have time due to their busy schedules. Similarly, as becoming a parent now too, I have had to figure out how to navigate this new area along with work and training.

Mission:

It is my mission to help busy parents and driven professionals achieve the best shape of their lives, on a schedule that actually works — without sacrificing family time, career focus, or sanity.
